[more]As a student interested in a career in economic development, I learned about the different ways in which lack of, or limited access to the rule of law impedes the improvement of standards of living and economic development in general.
[more]My internship at Environment Oregon gave me a deeper and more nuanced understanding of environmental issues, skills in environmental organizing and event organizing, and connection to a network of advocates.
[more]This internship was important both academically and professionally. I enjoyed seeing how solutions that are spoken about abstractly in a classroom setting are actually implemented in Washington.
