As a Class of 2020 First-Year Fellow, Nicole Beckman '20 interned at the Office of U.S. Congresswoman Anne McLane Kuster ’78. During her fellowship, Nicole was tasked with compiling news articles that mentioned Congresswoman Kuster, writing short summaries of each of the articles, and emailing the summaries to the D.C. and district office staff as well as the Congresswoman.

As a Class of 2020 First-Year Fellow, Will Barth '20 interned at Voice of America (VOA) under the mentorship of John Lippman ’71. While at Voice of America, Will worked in the Programming Directorate Office which is comprised of a team of managers who oversee the programming and personnel in all language services at VOA.

As a Class of 2020 First-Year Fellow, Julia Huebner '20 interned at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) under the mentorship of Jay Matson ’91. Specifically, Julia worked in FERC’s Office of Enforcement, the branch of the Commission that ensures compliance and enforces energy market regulations for market participants in the United States.
