Rocky Leadership Fellows share thoughts about leaders in recent session

During the January 20th Rockefeller Leadership Fellows (RLF) session, six fellows conducted presentations on leaders who either exhibited qualities that they admired or who forced them to question what real leadership is. The first presenter of the night was Sarah Frostenson. Sarah chose Nelson Mandela to force the group into questioning how much a leader should have to give up for their cause. Because of recently finishing Condolezza Rice's memoir, Laura Zapata decided to focus on Rice and discuss how a person is shaped into a leader by their upbringing. 

Roni Nitecki presented on a Holocaust survivor, her grandfather, to demonstrate that leadership can really come in all forms. Catie Burkhard questioned whether an athlete can be a leader on the field without being one off the field by focusing on Ben Roethlisberger. Emily Broas addressed Michelle Rhee's career as the chancellor of the DC public school district and led the fellows in discussing how social change should be best brought about. The last presenter for the night, John Lee, presented on Cincinnatus to bring into questioning how our nation should best decide our leaders if they can be corrupted by power.
