Dartmouth-Oxford Exchange Hosts Summer 2013 Dinner

A dinner was held Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the Rockefeller Center for the Dartmouth-Oxford Exchange Program participants for 2013-2014. This program provides an opportunity for up to four Dartmouth undergraduates per term (Fall, Winter, and Spring) to enroll in Oxford's Keble College.

As fully-integrated members of the Oxford community, students take pre-approved courses in the British tutorial system that count toward their major.  During the summer term at Dartmouth, four Keble students attend Dartmouth in the exchange. The Dartmouth-Oxford Exchange is administered jointly by the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center and Off-Campus Programs, with assistance from the International Students’ Office.

Tuesday’s dinner was well attended by all participants, including the summer Keble exchange students, except for Royce Yong ’15, who was off-campus for the term.  Andrew Samwick, the Director of the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the Social Sciences and the Sandra L. and Arthur L. Irving '72a, P'10 Professor of Economics at Dartmouth College, was present, as well as John Tansey, Executive Director of Off-Campus Programs.
