Brief Description of the organization:

Citigroup Global Government Affairs (GGA) staff actively lobby on issues that impact the company and our ability to do business. Citigroup has built a world-class Global Government Affairs team of seasoned professionals to represent the interests of all Citigroup businesses in the public policy arena. Members of the team come from diverse political, geographic and socio-economic backgrounds and work together to create value for Citigroup businesses through legislative lobbying and serving as the "faces" of Citigroup with international, federal, state and local elected officials.

 

Brief Description of the Intern's role or key qualifications: This intern will assist the Citi Global Government Affairs staff with briefings, research, power-point presentations, hearings' coverage, as well as normal office duty coverage. Specific responsibilities include:

 

Assist with all office administrative work.

Attend congressional hearings and provide summaries.

Assist CoS with Budget/Financial Excel Spreadsheets.

Research for Background Briefing Documents for Citi Seniors with Congressional Members.

Attend internal staff meetings and breakout sessions for planning purposes.

Strong communication skills and experience using Microsoft excel, power point, outlook and word is highly desirable.
