Brief Description of the organization:
As a not-for-profit organization, MITRE works in the public interest across federal, state and local governments, as well as industry and academia. MITRE focuses in areas as varied as artificial intelligence, intuitive data science, quantum information science, health informatics, space security, policy and economic expertise, trustworthy autonomy, cyber threat sharing, and cyber resilience.
Brief Description of the Intern's role or key qualifications:
Working with MITRE team members and project leaders to support the delivery of strategic advice and counsel to HHS, DOD, VA and other healthcare entities for the advancement of health outcomes via improving health information technology systems and business processes.
Participate in highly functional and creative teams while building knowledge and working relationships across the Corporation.
Document analysis, information preparation, project management support (status reports, staffing, spreadsheets, etc.); deliverable preparation (document and presentation), deliverable editing, healthcare, or health IT research.
