Brief Description of the organization:

"Causal Design is an economic consulting firm conducting rigorous program evaluations and analysis for international development organizations around the world. Working from our global offices in Denver, Colorado; Washington, D.C.; Phnom Penh, Cambodia; and Lilongwe, Malawi we help development actors make data-driven decisions to increase the impact of their programs. We have a small but growing team and a lot of exciting, impactful work to look forward to in the coming months and years."

Brief Description of the Intern's role or key qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Statistics, or other related area
• Demonstrable experience or familiarity with evaluation methods and data collection.
  • Some examples include
    • Quantitative: Statistical analysis of datasets utilizing software packages such as STATA, R, or SPSS.
• The most competitive candidates will have taken courses in development economics and econometrics.
• Experience or background in implementing economic or international development research
• Experience in implementing aspects of monitoring and evaluations processes for development projects and/or development clients
• Consulting experience strongly preferred; we help our clients make decisions
