

Congresswoman Annie Kuster (D-NH), a distinguished alumna of Dartmouth College from the class of '78, announced her retirement from the U.S. House of Representatives on March 27th. Throughout her tenure, Rep. Kuster has remained deeply connected to Dartmouth students, exemplifying her commitment to mentoring and engagement.
Since 2014, Rep. Kuster has served as a mentor for the First-Year Fellows program, offering invaluable guidance to emerging student leaders. She has welcomed numerous interns into her D.C. office. Maia Round '22, a former First-Year Fellow, transitioned into a role as Legislative Correspondent for Rep. Kuster, further illustrating her dedication to nurturing Dartmouth alumni.

During the past winter, Rep. Kuster returned to campus on multiple occasions, participating in events hosted by the Rockefeller Center alongside former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD). Her presence on campus has been consistent, including many meetings with students interested in government and public policy, and engagements with organizations like the Dartmouth Democrats.
