The Rockefeller Center mourns the loss of William H. (Bill) Neukom '64

The faculty, staff, and friends of the Rockefeller Center mourn the passing of William H. (Bill) Neukom '64, who served as a Trustee of Dartmouth College from 1996-2007 (Chair, 2004-07) and generously endowed academic centers, chairs and professorships, and scholarships for underrepresented students. Bill is dearly remembered for his deep commitment to higher education, and specifically to Dartmouth College.  He played an instrumental role in the development of and fundraising for the Class of 1964 Policy Research Shop in the Rockefeller Center.  With annual support through the endowment, Dartmouth students engage directly in the public policymaking processes in Vermont and New Hampshire by providing valuable, non-partisan research to state legislative committees, statewide commissions, and executive agencies on critical issues facing each state.  His legacy lives on in each successive cohort of students who make the Policy Research Shop and the Rockefeller Center an integral part of their Dartmouth experience.
