Sonia graduated from Dartmouth College in 2007 and worked at an investment bank on Wall Street. She is recently the author of Project Animal Farm, a book that traces her unprecedented journey investigating animal farms around the world, toward the aim of benefiting animal welfare, human health, and the environment. The book has been featured and reviewed in 25+ media publications, including Forbes, Salon, Vice, Boston Globe, and Toronto Star.

Sonia has spoken in front of more than a thousand people over the course of 25+ talks at major conferences, festivals, universities, bookstores, and libraries across the United States and Canada. She also delivers keynote addresses, and is a frequent guest on TV and radio.
