On His Activism and Legacy: Bobby Seale

The Dartmouth Political Union and The Rockefeller Center welcome Bobby Seale, cofounder of the Black Panther Party, to campus on Monday, October 10th at 6 pm in Filene Auditorium.

Join The Dartmouth Political Union and The Nelson A. Rockefeller Center in welcoming Bobby Seale. Seale co-founded the Black Panther Party with Huey Newton to monitor police activity and challenge police brutality in Black communities. He was one of the original “Chicago Eight” which turned into the trial of the “Chicago Seven” once his case was severed from the others. There will be ample time for audience questions and a book signing after the event.

No RSVP required. Seating is first come, first served. No live-stream or recording. With support from COSO, the Department of African and African American Studies, the Department of History, the Department of English, and the Department of Geography.
