This Monday, our journey on the road to intercultural efficacy and understanding, began with a simple case study. Amy Newcomb, a Student Programs Officer and Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Academic Director at the Dickey Center for International Understanding, presented the RGLP team with three ways in which individuals converse with each other:
[more]On Thursday, September 17th, the Rockefeller Center hosted a PoliTALK student dinner with Professor Akhil Reed Amar, Sterling Professor of Law at Yale Law School as part of Dartmouth's annual Constitution Day celebration. Professor Amar teaches constitutional law both at Yale College and Yale Law School, and has been favorably cited by Supreme Court justices across the spectrum in more than 30 cases.
[more]Students reflect on the opportunities provided to them by the Rockefeller Center's Mini-Grants program through this ongoing series. The Mini-Grants program funds registration fees for students attending conferences relevant to the Rockefeller Center's mission as well as the costs of bringing speakers to the Dartmouth campus.
