Amanda Brown Lierman is the Managing Director for Supermajority, a brand-new organization with the goal of building a 21st century women’s movement that is inclusive, multi-generational, and power-building. She most recently served as the Democratic National Committee’s Political and Organizing Director during the 2018 midterm election cycle. Prior to that role, Amanda was the Campaign Director for For Our Future Action Fund and For Our Future, an allied c4 and super PAC focused on progressive issues and winning elections.
Amanda has a wealth of experience – forging innovative partnerships, executing grassroots campaigns, advising key influencers, and growing and building brands. Amanda worked on the Obama campaign and in the Obama Administration through 2011 – first on the President’s Transition Team and the Presidential Inaugural Committee, as the Assistant to the Director in the White House Office of Political Affairs, and finally as the Advisor for Strategic Planning at the U.S. Department of Energy. Amanda left the Administration in 2011 to join Rock the Vote, a national nonprofit and nonpartisan organization with a mission to engage and empower young people to participate in our country’s political process – a chance to pay her experience forward. As the National Political Director, she oversaw the organization’s civic engagement programming during the 2012 presidential election cycle, led a national advocacy and public awareness campaign for voter registration modernization, and managed the maintenance and development of Rock the Vote's online voter registration tool, which was used by 2.5+ million young people during her tenure. Amanda then served as the Executive Director of the National Women's Business Council, an independent advisor to the President, Congress, and Small Business Administration on issues of impact and importance to women entrepreneurs.
Amanda is a 2014 Forbes 30-under-30 recipient in the Law and Public Policy field and a 2017 Washingtonian Magazine's 40-under-40. Amanda lives in Silver Spring, MD with her husband Kyle, daughters Belle, Leia and Hart and rescue pup Junior Brown.
