Lucy Biberman '23 helped host several events on Rotaract Humanitarian Day (a day to to honor and draw attention to Dartmouth alumni pursuing humanitarian work after college) and showed current students that humanitarian careers are fulfilling and viable option for post-grad life.

Dr. Mark W. Huddleston, whose decades-long career in higher education has culminated in a tenure as the longest-running President of the University of New Hampshire, has been selected as the 2020 Perkins Bass Distinguished Visitor for the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy. Huddleston began his time in higher education as a faculty member at SUNY Buffalo and the University of Delaware before serving as the Dean of the Colleges of Arts and Sciences at the University of Delaware, and later as the President of Ohio Wesleyan University and UNH.

Each term, the Management Leadership Development Program provides students with the opportunity to reflect on their leadership experience and become more effective leaders. The program has compiled the collaborated comments about those who completed the program with excellence this past term.

As humans, we are programmed to want to be in control and often dread the things that are outside of our control – that of uncertainty. However, things in this world are never solely black or white; more often than not, we find ourselves in a gray area somewhere in between dealing with these uncertainties. For how often we encounter them, we should not be fearing ambiguity, but we should instead be learning to embrace the uncertainty of the world around us and learn to navigate it to the best of our abilities.
