First-Year Fellow Joby Bernstein '17 Sees Media and Politics Up Close

First-Year Fellow Joby Bernstein ’17 caught a glimpse of the political process and the media cycle this week following the Supreme Court’s controversial June 30th decision in Burwell v. Hobby Lobby. Taking full advantage of his front row seat of events in Washington, DC this summer as an intern in the Office of Senator Rob Portman, Dartmouth ’78, Bernstein waited outside the Supreme Court for news as the media congregated. Monday morning was a busy time for court-watchers across the nation and especially for our own First-Year Fellow who was right in the heat of the action.
