Health Policy Talk by Dr. Ashish Jha on "The Meaningful Use of Electronic Health Records"

"The Meaningful Use of Electronic Health Records: The Opportunities and Challenges Ahead"

On December 9, 2010, the Health Policy Faculty Workshop hosted Dr. Ashish Jha, a national expert on the use of electronic health records by physicians and hospitals in the U.S.  His talk on the policies promoting the use of electronic health records gave rise to a lively discussion among the diverse audience members who came from the medical school, TDI, DHMC, and Tuck, as well as faculty from various departments around the College.  It was a great opportunity for frank interdisciplinary discussion of a major policy initiative in health care.

Health Policy Faculty Workshops are jointly sponsored by The Nelson A. Rockefeller Center and The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice.
