The Public Policy 85 group is in Bogota, Colombia this week conducting field research on the genesis and implementation of the peace accords signed in 2016 between the Colombian government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).

The course is in its six iteration, with past topics covering: economic reform in India (2013), the peace process in Northern Ireland (2014), the U.S. role in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict (2015), civil society in the Ukraine (2016), and Liberia 2030: A Political and Economic Roadmap (2017). This year the topic is the Colombia peace accords signed in 2016. Students will spend two weeks in Bogota in early December for field research.
