[more]While working on legislative research and talking with staff about proposed bills, I became aware of the strong overlap and integration of legal research and policy-making.

[more]My assignments quickly evolved to include composing legislative summaries, researching environmental bill proposals, and tracking media coverage on policy. All this work goes toward the first steps taken to make significant economic changes in the United States.
[more]Sonstituent correspondence was my main responsibility, which included answering phone calls for the office, providing assistance to the callers, and organizing mail sent to the office. In fact, ensuring effective correspondence between constituents and representatives provided me with a unique perspective into what it means to be a public servant.
