    On Thursday, March 12, 2015, three students from the Policy Research Shop (PRS) traveled to Montpelier, VT to testify before the Vermont House Committee on Fish, Wildlife, and Water Resources, chaired by Rep. David Deen. The students—Ana Marija Pongrac '15, Tyler Stoff '15, and Katelyn Schultz '16—presented their policy brief, "Vermont Environmental Trust Fund Establishment: An Analysis of Potential Strategies" and fielded questions from committee members.

  • PRS Students Testify on Minimum Wage Bill

    On Tuesday, March 3, 2015, four Dartmouth undergraduates from the Rockefeller Center’s Policy Research Shop (PRS) traveled to Concord, NH to testify before the New Hampshire Senate Finance Committee on SB 261, a bill to raise the minimum wage in New Hampshire above the federal minimum wage standard of $7.25 per hour.

  • Rockefeller Center – One of the recipients of the Class of 1964's 50th reunion gift

    The Class of 1964's 50th reunion gift of $14.7m to Dartmouth was announced today, of which the Rockefeller Center is a significant beneficiary. The '64 Leadership Initiative supports leadership training through experiential learning, a priority for President Hanlon since his inauguration, and a priority of the Rockefeller Center since its dedication in 1983.

  • 1st Annual Policy Research Shop Open House: Recap with Organizer Mariel Wallace '16

    This week, the Rockefeller Center’s Policy Research Shop (PRS) held its first annual open house. Organized by 2013 First-Year Fellow Mariel Wallace ’16, the open house sought to showcase the work that the Policy Research Shop conducts both for public policy in the surrounding community and for the education of Dartmouth students. In an interview, Wallace described her inspiration to organize this event and involvement with the PRS.
