The Rockefeller Center helps students find, fund, and prepare for a leave-term internship experience in public policy research, public policy analysis, issue evaluation, or activities which help shape and determine public policy.
[more]I am currently a rising sophomore at Dartmouth College, spending the summer in Washington, DC, as an intern in the press office of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. Along with 22 other students, I am part of Dartmouth’s Rockefeller Center First Year Fellows program, which sponsors summer internships in DC for students interested in careers in public policy.
[more]For the third session of Civic Skills Training, the First-Year Fellows learned about teamwork between roommates. The fellows sat with other flatmates they would be living with in WISH Woodley Park, Washington DC to learn about what would make a great team and the situations in which the group dynamic may be affected.
