[more]Samantha Hussey, a member of the Class of 2020, is a Sociology major and Government and Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies double minor from Kāneʻohe, Hawaiʻi, who is interested in the interplay of race, gender, and socioeconomic status within social interactions and identities.
[more]One of the most rewarding aspects of her time at Dartmouth was the mentorship she gained from students in classes ahead of her, who encouraged Puja to follow through on goals and try new things. Now as the upperclassman, Puja also finds it rewarding to be a mentor to younger students by actively sharing her experiences.
[more]Andrew Samwick, the Sandra L. and Arthur L. Irving ’72a P ’10 Professor of Economics, was honored at the Rockefeller Center Board of Visitors dinner on May 9, 2019 for his 15 years of leadership as director of the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the Social Sciences. Samwick’s term as director ends on June 30, 2019.
