PRS Students Testify on Natural Gas to the NH House Committee on Science, Technology, and Energy

On Thursday, April 9, 2015, Maggie Fiertz ’15, Mark Sheridan ’15, and Hamza Abbasi ’16, students from The Class of 1964 Policy Research Shop of the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center at Dartmouth College, traveled to Concord to present their research findings to New Hampshire House of Representatives Committee on Science, Technology and Energy, chaired by Rep. Robert E. Introne. The students presented their policy brief, “Natural Gas in New Hampshire,” to the full committee and responded to questions from the committee members. The students discussed the current mix of renewable and non-renewable energy sources utilized in New Hampshire and across the New England states and assessed the current and future prospects for natural gas as a “bridge fuel” for meeting energy needs.
