Rockefeller Leadership Fellow: Elizabeth Treacy '15

Article Type

This ongoing series introduces the Rockefeller Leadership Fellows for the 2014-2015 academic year. The Rockefeller Leadership Fellows (RLF) program provides fellows with resources in leadership theories and practical skills. Selected their Junior Spring, these Seniors take part in the workshops, dinner discussions, and team-building exercises as they gain a better understanding of the qualities and responsibilities necessary for leaders and successful leadership styles. Throughout the program, fellows learn from the insight and experience of distinguished guests as well as from each other.

Elizabeth Treacy '15 graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH. She was Senior Class Treasurer and a member of the Cum Laude Society. At Dartmouth, Treacy majors in Engineering Sciences and English with a concentration in Creative Writing. She is a New Member Educator in her sorority, Alpha Xi Delta, and a member of Intergroup Dialogue and Dartmouth on Purpose. Treacy enjoys training for marathons, canoeing, and thinking about how interdisciplinary studies overlap and inform one another. After graduating, Treacy hopes to work at a start-up or a company involved with engineering and education and to eventually build programs that bring together people working for social justice.
