Rocky Interns in DC: Joseph Singh '14 Publishes Online Articles for Time and Foreign Policy Magazine

Joseph Singh ’14, a Rockefeller Center Funded Intern, has recently published two online articles during his internship with the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).

His first article, titled "Are the strategic costs of Obama's drone policy greater than the short-term gains?", was published on June 27, 2012 on Foreign Policy magazine's Best Defense blog.   Singh states that "the support that CNAS gave in helping me get this published was unbelievable. It's an incredible place to intern."

On August 13, 2012, Singh published his second article - an op-ed in Time Magazine online titled "Betting Against a Drone Arms Race" - as part of his research on drone technology at CNAS.

CNAS is an independent and non-partisan organization that focuses on researching and analyzing national security and defense policies.  Also of note, Dartmouth alum Nathaniel Fick '99 is the CEO of CNAS.  Fick is also a member of the Rockefeller Center Board of Visitors and is newly elected to the Dartmouth Board of Trustees.  For his bio (and a bit more information about CNAS), please visit the Rockefeller Center Board of Visitors website.
