Brief Description of the organization:
Democratic Senator Maggie Hassan is a U.S. Senator from New Hampshire.
Brief Description of the Intern's role or key qualifications: Our internship program is intended for those who have completed at least a year of college, although applicants with compelling experience may qualify. Successful applicants will have strong writing and research skills, the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, and enthusiasm for engaging with constituents in person and on the phone. Preference will be given to students who are from New Hampshire or are enrolled in a New Hampshire college or university, although all interested students with a solid academic record, involvement within their community, and eagerness to learn more about the federal government are encouraged to apply.
