Brief Description of the Intern's role or key qualifications

The intern may be responsible for 

  1. Supervising volunteers
  2. Processing checks, travel expenses, and petty cash
  3. Budget preparation and monitoring
  4. Designing deliverables
  5. Writing, research, and administrative tasks
  6. Collecting and analyzing data

The work will all be primarily related to forest policy in the United States. The intern can expect to learn how a leading organization operates and conducts public policy. The intern can also expect to learn how to properly conduct strategic analysis and how to present those findings to officials. The intern will have the chance to interact with experts in the field.
