The Governor's Office Internship Program is uncompensated and is intended for persons seeking to gain professional and/or academic experience. If course credit is offered by your school, we will certainly work with you to achieve that goal.
Time Commitment: Up to 40 hours per week for at least 8 weeks
Desired Class Year: Open to all class years including graduate students
Desired Major or Interest: Open to all majors

Brief Description of the organization:
The Governor's Office Internship Program is a select internship experience designed for students who are innovative and passionate about public service, and offers a variety of opportunities and possibilities for interns to gain both academic and professional experience. Brief Description of the Intern's role or key qualifications:
We have several projects that the Governor's office is working on with the Choose Love Program that focuses on the Social and Emotional Learning program being implemented by the Department of Education with support from other state agencies and stakeholders. This would be an ideal opportunity for students in the social work and education concentrations.
