Andrea Mercado-Cruz is a freshman at Dartmouth College from Dallas, Texas. In high school, she served as Chair of the Dallas Youth Commission, focusing on fostering civic engagement and democracy through her podcast All Teens Everywhere. She worked with the National League of Cities (NLC) to plan nationwide youth conferences and deliver policy recommendations to local government officials. Additionally, Andrea was the Captain of her school's Mock Trial and Model UN teams. At Dartmouth, she served as a campus fellow for the Harris-Walz Campaign, is a current Crisis Director for Dartmouth Model UN, and an Ambassador for the Dartmouth Minority Pre-Law Association. She sits on the Freshman Board of the Dartmouth Democrats and serves as Director of Communications for the American Constitution Society. She intends to major in Government modified with LALACS and minor in Public Policy. After graduating, Andrea hopes to become a public interest lawyer and community advocate.
