Iris WeaverBell '28 is a QuestBridge Scholar from Portland, Oregon, passionate about law, public policy, and economic justice. She graduated in the top ten percent of her class from Lincoln High School, where she was deeply involved in Model UN, Speech and Debate, Mock Trial, and the We the People Constitution team. She also worked as a line cook throughout high school to help support her family, an experience that not only shaped her interest in labor and social welfare policy but also taught her how to lead and stay composed under pressure. A fan of new experiences and talking to people, she is a news writer for The Dartmouth and a college radio DJ. She plans to pursue a career in law and policy, aiming to contribute to justice reform and equitable governance through legal and legislative work. In her free time, Iris enjoys hiking and reading.
