Jackson Hyde is a '28 from Los Angeles, California. He graduated from North Hollywood High School's Highly Gifted Magnet, where he served as captain of the debate team, head of the student writing workshop, a member of several tutoring organizations, and video and production coordinator for TEDxNHHS Youth. His policy interests include civic engagement, information ecosystems, and public education. His personal interests include photography, meditation, and board game design. At Dartmouth, he is a "Humanities Work" Institute Fellow at the Leslie Center for the Humanities. He is also the first '28 to become a staff reporter for The Dartmouth newspaper, writing a weekly beat on Dartmouth Student Government alongside stories about local elections and campus events. He plans to major in Government modified by Philosophy, with a minor in Public Policy.
