Ajayda Griffith

Ajayda Griffith is from Elmont, New York, and a first-generation Bajan. She graduated from Elmont Memorial High School in the top 10% of her class and was President of the English Honor Society, Vice-President of Key Club, a Varsity Soccer and Lacrosse player, and an avid musician who played two instruments and participated in choir and musical. At Dartmouth, Ajayda plans to double major in English and Sociology with a minor in Public Policy. In addition to being an Officer for Class of 2027 Council and first-year representative of the Dartmouth Minority Pre-Law Association, Ajayda is involved with many black student organizations. She is the first-year representative of the NAACP, Afro-American Society, and co-President of the Black Underground Theater Association. At Dartmouth, Ajayda hopes to learn about policy to pursue a career that allows her to discover ways to make life more equitable in low-income areas nationwide.
