Annabelle Zhang

Health Affairs

Annabelle Zhang is from Millburn, New Jersey. She graduated from Millburn High School with Honors and was awarded Exemplary Performance in English & Language Arts Activities. In high school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of The Miller, the monthly paper, for two years and captained the Congressional Debate team for two as well. She co-directed the New Jersey Congressional Debate Institute, a free online summer program providing accessible resources to low-income debaters. She also co-founded and edited The Purple Dinosaur, a literary magazine for queer students at her high school. At Dartmouth, she plans to major in Geography and minor in Public Policy and Middle Eastern Studies. She is currently an associate managing news editor and staff news writer for The Dartmouth and writer for the Mirror. Her investigative experiences inform her interests in using storytelling in media to frame and inspire political action.
