Armita Mirkarimi '25 hails from Irvine, California, where she graduated with highest honors from Woodbridge High School as a National Merit Finalist and AP Scholar with Distinction. At Woodbridge, Armita was a City of Irvine Community Service Department Aide, California Seal of Civic Engagement recipient, and Communications Director of local nonprofit Hearts to Heroes. She was also Drama Department President, Moot Court President, Class Representative, and Girls State Delegate. At Dartmouth, she plans to pursue a major in Middle Eastern Studies modified with Government and minors in Public Policy and English. On campus, she is a member of the Mock Trial Society, a Dickey Center Great Issues Scholar, an Arts Writer for The Dartmouth, and an avid performer in the Theater Department. She develops mindfulness initiatives as an intern at the Student Wellness Center. After graduation, Armita hopes to attend law school and pursue a career in immigration law.
