Claire E. Mitchell

Claire Mitchell '23 grew up outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, where graduated as senior class president, a National AP Scholar, and salutatorian. At Dartmouth, she majors in environmental studies, concentrating in biology, and minors in education. Outside the classroom, you can find her dancing with the Fusion Dance Ensemble, writing for the Dartmouth Jack-O-Lantern, and serving as student director of Growing Change through Dartmouth's Center for Social Impact. Claire has always had a passion for the environment and education and strives to increase education equity within the education system. Following graduation, Claire plans to commit to education equity through Teach for America where she has been accepted to teach secondary mathematics in Oahu, Hawaii.
