Cooper Hyldahl

Cooper Hyldahl '26 is from Wilmington, North Carolina, and graduated from John T. Hoggard High School with an International Baccalaureate Diploma and as class valedictorian, an AP Scholar with Distinction, and with the prestigious John T. Hoggard award. In high school, Cooper was president of the Beta Club, captain of the Men's Swim Team, president of his swim team's Peer Leadership Board, and created an organization to register and engage young voters in local politics. At Dartmouth, Cooper plans to major in Economics on the Development Track and minor in both International Studies and Public Policy. He is the Technical Director of the Dartmouth Political Union, an Executive for Club Triathlon, a Great Issues Scholar, and a member of the Dartmouth Investment and Philanthropy Program. After Dartmouth, Cooper plans to develop and analyze policy at a research institution or within a federal agency.
