Ella N. Laurent

Ella was raised in South Florida and graduated from Cypress Bay High School. At Cypress Bay, she was the co-team captain of her high school speech/debate team and championed state and national tournaments in policy debate. She also led voter registration drives as president of her high school's political awareness club and served as treasurer of her Rho Kappa chapter. At Dartmouth, she intends to major in Quantitative Social Science and Biology. She is a Dartmouth Forensics Union member, the junior directorate chair of the Environmental Stewardship Division of the DOC, a Foundations in Social Impact Fellow, a Great Issues Scholar, and a research assistant in the Government Department. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in environmental policy.
