Fielding P. Essensa

Financial Manager

Fielding Essensa is the Finance Manager for the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the Social Sciences. Responsible for the overall financial management of the Center, Fielding brings extensive public and private financial experience to the day to day operations, including expense management, financial analysis, as well as financial stewardship.
Prior to his time with the Center, Fielding spent several years in the private sector before making the switch to municipal government, being the Finance Manager for the Town of Norwich Vermont, as well as the Accounting Specialist for Teton County Wyoming Parks and Recreation. He holds a B.A. in Economics from St. Lawrence University, where he also met his wife Kim.
Fielding and his wife Kim share a son, Oliver, who prompted their move to the Upper Valley to be closer to family and friends. In his free time, you can find him snowboarding at the Dartmouth Skiway, where Kim is a manager, or on his boat on one of several local lakes waterskiing.
