Joanie Wood is a first-generation college student from rural Northeastern Ohio. She graduated concurrently from Crestview High School and Kent State University, receiving an Associate of Science degree with Distinction from the latter. At Crestview, Joanie served as the President of National Honor Society, Captain of the Soccer Team, an Officer on Student Council, and was her school's first female wrestler. She was a 2022 Joyce Ivy Foundation Summer Scholar and currently serves as a Fellow for the non-profit. At Dartmouth, Joanie is on pre-law track pursuing a degree in Economics with minors in Public Policy and Psychology. She is the incoming Student Director of the Wheelock Society, Treasurer of the Federalist Society, editor of The Apologia, writer for The Dartmouth, a Peer Tutor, a DCSI consultant, a member of Dartmouth Women in Law & Politics, a member of Vox Christian Fellowship, and she operates an independent tutoring business. After graduation, Joanie plans to attend law school and study constitutional, Biblical, and education law.
