Kyle Mullins is from sunny St. Petersburg, Florida, In high school, he was Editor-in-Chief of The Chronicle high school newspaper, Honor Council president, a leading member of the Model UN team, and a varsity track athlete. Furthermore, he earned the Global Scholar distinction after completing a three-year project about the Syrian refugee crisis for the Global Scholars Initiative. At Dartmouth, Kyle continues to engage his passion for journalism as a news reporter for The Dartmouth; he served as an associate managing editor his sophomore fall and interned at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette covering COVID-19 his sophomore spring. In addition to DartMUN and The D, he works as a public programming assistant for the Rockefeller Center and is a sometimes-member of the climbing team. Named a Great Issues Scholar by the Dickey Center after his first year and a War and Peace Fellow after his second, he is pursuing a history major, an economics minor, and a minor in public policy, and will likely pursue a career in journalism or politics.
