Ryantony Exuma

Ryantony Exuma is from Brooklyn, New York, and the son of Haitian immigrants. He graduated from Poly Prep Country Day School, where he was Student Body President, Co-President of the Umoja Affinity Group, Co-Leader of the Public School to Poly Program, and an AP Scholar with Distinction. Furthermore, he facilitated several voter registration drives at Poly Prep and was a founding member of Black Students Demanding Change, a group founded to pursue reforms to the implementation of DEI initiatives at several New York City private schools. At Dartmouth, he is a SIBS mentor and is involved with the Dartmouth Political Union; the Men of Color Alliance; the Bait & Bullet Club; and the Dartmouth Alliance for Children of Color. He plans to major in Government modified with Philosophy and Economics and minor in Public Policy and French. During his time at Dartmouth and beyond, he hopes to help employ policymaking to provide people—especially those who have long been neglected—with more opportunities to succeed and get engaged in a more prosperous and equitable society.
