Samay Sahu '27, from Nashua, New Hampshire, graduated from Nashua High School South. At just 18, he became the youngest member of the Democratic National Committee. Samay's background in grassroots organizing and youth activism, guides his role in shaping the party's platform, advocating for increased youth representation and outreach. As the National Chairman of the High School Democrats of America, he expanded operations nationwide, promoting political education and engagement among high school students. At Dartmouth, he continues his political engagement as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Dartmouth Student Government and the Technical Director for the Dartmouth Political Union. Through his leadership and activism, Samay is working to amplify the voices of marginalized voices in the policy-making process. He plans to major in History and Sociology with a minor in Public Policy, then pursue law school and a career in public service after graduation.
