Zachariah Yusaf

Zachariah Yusaf '26 hails from Tarrytown, New York, where he graduated Cum Laude from Hackley School as an AP Scholar with Distinction. At Hackley, Zach played soccer and ran track, peer tutored for 100+ hours, and was the captain of the debate team, where he mentored middle and high school students and was ranked within the top two Public Forum teams in the nation. Outside of school, Zach spent his time teaching English as a second language to recent immigrants to the United States at the Neighbors' Link Volunteer Center and co-running Pass The Gavel, an organization that spreads the art of debate to underserved communities, with his younger sister. At Dartmouth, Zach plans to major in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics and minor in Computer Science. He spends his time debating for the Parliamentary Debate Team, dancing on Raaz, and mentoring children in the Upper Valley through SIBS.
