[more]Adaptability is a willingness to open yourself up to new experiences, despite the potential challenges they might bring. Throughout RGLP, we honed the skill of adaptability. Each session presented a new opportunity for us to demonstrate this skill, whether through traveling to Boston without knowing the itinerary, or learning the art of capoeira, something none of us had tried before.
[more]Adaptability is the solution to creating greater cohesion across different cultures. Without a willingness to dive into cross-cultural environments head-on, productive conversations that move us forward as one interconnected planet are impossible. Entering multicultural spaces with no preconceived notions is an important first step to adequately engage in these conversations.
[more]In his evening lecture, titled "Do Voters Actually Care About Federal Budget Deficits? How Partisan Bias Shapes the Importance of Issues," Professor Kane unpacked the findings in this paper, sharing his hypothesis that "partisans will adjust the importance of deficit spending based upon the party of the incumbent president."
[more]Meyer directed the media program for Raphael Warnock's Senate campaigns and more than twenty others through the years. In addition to political campaign ad programs, he has advised labor unions, EMILY's List, and nonprofit organizations. Drawing from these professional insights, Meyer came prepared on Monday with anecdotes from the industry and heaps of advice for aspiring young professionals.
